Friday, April 12th
5:00am * Arrive at the school. Go to your bus section and have all your bags checked
6:00am *Load buses and depart for New Orleans!
11:00am *Arrive at the WWII Museum! Enjoy the expansive collection of artifacts and
exhibits, that will take you inside the story of the war that changed the world.
12:00pm * Enjoy lunch at the WWII Museum. (included)
4:00pm *Load buses and depart for Lean Lafitte Swamp Tours. Tour begins at 5pm
6:30pm *Depart for dinner at Bayou Barn. (included)
9:00pm * Depart for Hotel
ROOM CHECK IS AT 11PM NIGHTLY SECURITY WILL PATROL HALLWAYS
Saturday, April 13th
6:15am *Rise and Shine!! WEAR YOUR BLUE BAND SHIRT!
7:15am *Breakfast at the hotel. (included)
8:30am *Depart for French Quarter Walking Tour. Tour starts at 9am
11:00am *Cooking Class with Chef Amy Sins at Tableau 11:30am Cooking Class and lunch
1:30pm *Head to the French Quarter Festival! This is the largest showcase of Louisiana
and Jazz Music in the world. Festival goers will hear Jazz,Latin,R&B,Zydeco,New
Orleans funk, Swing and Rock throughout the historic French Quarter.
*Enjoy dinner at over 60 food venues and booths located within the Festival ($$)
7:00pm *Meet buses and depart for hotel.
ROOM CHECK AT 11:00PM NIGHTLY SECURITY WILL PATROL THE HALLWAYS
SUNDAY, APRIL 14TH
7:00am *RISE AND SHINE!!! Pack your belongings and clean your room.
8:00am *Breakfast at the hotel. (included)
8:30am * Room Check Once your room is cleared , you can load the buses.
Everyone must be in the room with their luggage packed and ready to go!
9:00am *Depart for the Mardi Gras Tour
9:30am *Arrive at Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World
11:00am *Walk as a group to the Riverwalk Market Place. You’ll find over 140 shops and
restaurants – all along a half-mile stretch on the Mississippi River
Enjoy lunch with a Marketplace Voucher (included)
*You will also have time to do some sightseeing with your group of the city!
4:00pm *Load buses and depart for home!
