2006-2007 Concert Band

 Comprised of all levels and grades of students, the Viking Concert Band performs concerts and participates in Florida Band Masters Association's District and State Festivals. Directed by Mr. Daniel Smith, the Viking Concert Band has consistently been rated superior by FBA. Often playing the caliber of music performed by college stage bands, the Viking Concert Band is a source of pride for the entire school.

Concert season presents unique opportunities for FWBHS music students. Many Viking musicians develop a true and better understanding of classical compositions as a result of their stage performances.  The variety and complexity of the music prepares these young musicians for the many exciting performance challenges which lie ahead.
