Welcome to the
Our Band Parents have historically been a dedicated group of volunteers. We are blessed to have the opportunity to participate, on behalf of our children, in one of the best band programs in the country. But even with an outstanding music program and exceptional instructors, the program can not be successful without supportive parent volunteers. As we have all learned, if everyone pitches in with one duty, activity, or fund raiser, then the burden is much easier to bear for all.
Band Parents Meetings are normally held the 3rd Monday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Band Room. We look forward to welcoming new parents and students into the wonderful experience which is the Viking Band!

Please don't wait to be asked; just jump in and volunteer! Your assistance with any function will be greatly appreciated.
Band Parents perform a wide variety of services in support of the Viking Band.
From working the concession stands at home football games, chaperoning for Band adventures, taking care of the instruments, sewing flags, to serving on fund-raising committees, the Band Parents are a vital aspect to the success of the Viking Band program.
There's always a need for volunteers and we're happy to work within your individual capabilities and exploit your talents wherever possible!
We could not accomplish all we do without our volunteers.
By the way, grandparents are welcome to volunteer too!
