August Band Parent Meeting and Covered Dish

 

The next Band Parent Meeting will be August 19th at 6:00 pm.  There will be a covered dish

meal for parents and students followed by Band Practice and a Band Parent Meeting.  Hot dogs

and hamburgers will be provided.  Families are asked to bring the following items:

    Saxophone, percussion & pit: 1 Large bag of chips

    Color guard, clarinet, french horn, trombone, tuba: (1) 2 Liter bottle of soda

    Flute, trumpet: dessert for 8 people

   

A note about 2010-2011 uniforms

**UNIFORM RENTAL FEE FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR DUE AT TIME OF FITTING

               $150 FOR RETURNING STUDENTS/ $200 FOR NEW STUDENTS

 

Section/Whole band pictures:  Thursday, July 29   4 pm

Individual pictures August 7 8:00 to 12:00 in the FWBHS Band Room

MUST BE IN COMPLETE UNIFORM FOR PHOTOS 

 

Upper classmen:   If you did not turn in a uniform part last school year or still owe money, you must bring either the item, money for
      its replacement and/or the amount owed from last year… The rest of your uniform will be issued when everything is cleared.

Freshmen:  Fittings will take at least 30 minutes per student…

 

Bangkok Cleaners on Mary Esther Cutoff will alter pants for $9.00/stirrups $3.00

 

If you need black Bandos, please go to Playground Music to be sized and have the shoe ordered!
